Small Christian Communities

Small Christian Communities (SCC) are small
groups of St. Pascal parishioners
who meet once a week for two six week
periods per year. Join us for a journey of
learning and enlightenment as we continue to
explore topics of the liturgy and the
sacraments.
Our spring
session will continue to use the booklet,
"The Profession of Faith: What we Believe"
which we used during the fall sessions. The
sessions will look at truths that we, as
Catholics, believe. We can continue to grow
in our faith by reexamining the tenets we
memorized as children and sharing our faith
experience with other adults.
The spring session of Small
Christian Communities will begin the Week
of February 12th and end the
Week of March 25th. This is a
great opportunity to reflect on what we
believe as we pray over and discuss these
topics.
Session 1:
The Incarnation
Session 2: The Paschal Mystery: Jesus’
Death and Resurrection
Session 3: The Holy Spirit and the
Church
Session 4: One Church with Diverse
Rolls
Session 5: Mary, Mother of Christ,
Mother of the Church
Session 6: We believe in Life
Everlasting.
We will also be reading from the Catechism
of the Catholic Church.
The topics for
the spring session are very appropriate for
reflection during the Season of Lent.
Whether you were
part of the fall sessions or not, please
join us for this round of SCC gatherings.
Join and discuss your own point of view on
these beliefs, as well as listening to
others. This can be enlightening and
beneficial to everyone’s spiritual growth.
Prayer
commitment will be the weekend of January
14-15. Sign up weekend will be January
21-22. You can also copy the sign-up sheet
attachment below fill it out and put in the
collection basket at any time.
Please join
other parishioners for this chance to grow
in faith.
